Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is currently seeking a AutoCAD Designer.
Work within multidiscipline design teams on wide variety of civil and environmental projects, including site development, infrastructure, landfills, stream restoration, soil and groundwater remediation
Ability to prepare construction drawings, report figures, and details under supervision in accordance with various local, state, or federal CADD standards
Erosion and sediment control and storm water plan preparation experience
Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare construction drawings and report figures
Preparation of project permitting documents for local, state and federal permits
Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and organizational abilities
Interact with coworkers and internal clients, while conducting work in a professional and ethical manner
Willingness to accept responsibility and additional support tasks
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if / as required
Strong dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting company safety culture
Ability to work independently and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Skills / Qualifications
1 to 3 years of related experience using AutoCAD ideally in civil, water and utility drafting
A.A. degree in related field or vocational training a plus
Familiarity with National CAD Standards is required
Experience or training with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
Must pass drug screen, background check, and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company’s driving (MVR) policy
