To continue this trend of excellence, we are recruiting for a Civil Engineer III to manage the design and construction of projects including but not limited to water and wastewater systems, treatment facilities, system rehabilitation projects, and inflow and infiltration; review and prepare plans, specifications, and contracts; and provide technical support to the Public Works Department.
Experience: Five to eight years of engineering and project management experience, preferably with experience in a municipality or Public Works department. A master's degree may be substituted for experience.
Education: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field.
Licenses and Certificates: Must be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Kansas, or able to obtain a professional engineering license in the State of Kansas within 6 months of employment. Valid drivers license.
