Senior Transportation Planner
Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments (WRCOG) is seeking a Senior Transportation Planner to support our bi-state Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Grand Strand Area Regional Transportation Study (GSATS) serving the Myrtle Beach MSA. This position will plan, report and manage MPO projects and contracts in North Carolina and South Carolina and implement activities and initiatives as the designated recipient of Federal Transit Administration funds, as needed. This position will also collect and analyze transportation, land use and population data, and utilize this information to develop planning documents and studies. The selected candidate will be required to interpret and apply applicable federal, state, county and local codes, ordinances and regulations. GIS
