Engineer Senior Traffic
The Virginia Department of Transportation’s (VDOT) is excited to offer and announce an opportunity to serve as a Senior Engineer (Traffic) in our Traffic Engineering & Safety Division. This position is located in Richmond, Virginia. Position specific responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: Provide Senior level help for traffic operations analysis, modeling, and simulation of roadway network including Arterials and Freeways, modeling levels include Deterministic, Microscopic, Mesoscopic and hybrid modeling. Help the Districts with analysis and reviews of complex traffic engineering models, and provide subject matter expertise as and when needed statewide, including for various high visibility
