GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the use of BIM in the High Steel Structures (HSS) Engineering Department, and subsequently throughout the HSS organization, to facilitate digital delivery of projects in the structural steel industry. This responsibility includes managing the development and maintenance of the BIM software systems, integration of BIM software with other HSS systems, developing and maintaining effective user training, and advancing HSS’s use of BIM as technology evolves. This role requires industry involvement in appropriate technical committees and user groups to develop HSS’s position as an industry leader in BIM technology.
