Frisco, Texas, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States.  In 2000, the population of Frisco was about 34,000 people and has grown now to just over 225,000 with an expected buildout population of 350,000. Frisco is frequently rated as one of the top places to live and raise a family.  Frisco is the home of the Dallas Cowboys, FC Dallas Soccer, the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) and a recently announced Universal Theme Park for children.  Frisco is recognized as an innovative community.  Transportation innovation is encouraged and expected.  The position described will play an instrumental part in helping Frisco continue to lead in areas related to transportation.
