Job Summary Under the general supervision of the City Engineer, performs responsible supervisory, administrative, and professional engineering work overseeing the enforcement of the City’s land development regulations, including the Manual of Standard Designs and Details, the City Code of Ordinances, and the City’s soil erosion and sedimentation control program. Manages staff engineers and surveyors responsible for construction plans, erosion control plans, site plans, and various other development-related plan reviews; manages engineering assistants responsible for inspection of construction sites to ensure compliance with approved development plans.
