Job Responsibilities:

• Project Manager Role overseeing the Review and Analysis of Traffic Impact Studies and Transportation Planning Studies (Transportation Engineer/Planner Position)
• Project Manager Role overseeing Design Projects related to Traffic Signal, Signing, Pavement Marking, MOT and Vehicle/Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety (Traffic Engineer Position)
• Edit and/or Write Point by Point Response Letters to address Public Agency Traffic Impact Study Review Comments
• Provide Expert Witness Testimony
• Perform field duties outside of the office including Field Verifications and Observations
• Compose Project Fee Proposals for Clients and track Billing Status for Projects
• Attend Meetings and Coordinate with project members and clients in order to meet project deadlines in an organized manner
• Use existing knowledge of Agency Requirements and Criteria when Managing and Reviewing Projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Urban Planning or a related field
• P.E., AICP or PTP Certification
• 10+ years of experience in transportation planning, with a focus in Traffic Impact Studies (Transportation Engineer/Planner Position)
• 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering design (Traffic Engineer Position)
• Possess a driver's license valid in Maryland with access to a vehicle which may be used on the job
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Experience with Microsoft 365
